The Tony, Grammy, and Olivier Award-winning musical “Beautiful: The Carole King Musical” premieres in Manila on June 14 at the Meralco Theater. It stars Kayla Rivera, winner of the David Foster Star Search, and Nick Varricchio, who previously appeared in “Saturday Night Fever” and “A Chorus Line.”
“Beautiful: The Carole King Musical” was nominated for seven Tony Awards including Best Musical. The musical will excite audiences with the inspiring story of a woman ahead of her time and her remarkable journey from teenage songwriter to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Carole King has firmly established herself as one of pop music’s most gifted and successful composers. She has won four Grammy awards and was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
